meet you guys again :D
this time,another post,will be in English.i'll do post in English or Bahasa Melayu,depending on my mood
what i'm gonna talk now is something that i always feel and are sometimes nagging me
so,i want to share it with you guys
at kampung,it's something common when your relatives like uncles,unties,grandmother or cousin ask about what course do you take and where will u go to further your study
as in my case,when i told them that i will further my study in Jordan,they dont bother to ask much about it or say like,'how lucky are you', 'i hope my child can go there too' or anything such like that
they just told me,'congrats,good luck,try your best' and i knew that some of them dont even know where Jordan is,they just knew it's a Middle East country,maybe like Mesir =_="
and then,things got 'better' when i told about the course i'm taking,which is
ISLAMIC BANKING!!!
and they were like,'oh,such a good course.dont heard bout it much', 'does it even exist?', 'why you take this course?dont have any other choice?','why dont you take medic','oh,you will be an ustazah' and etc
and i was like,'what the heck?' why people always think that when we further our studies in Middle East countries,we must be an ustaz/ustazah??why???
and then,some of my relative,*just some of them* lose their interest because my course is not as interesting as Engineering or Medical,and i'm not going to a glamorous country like Europe and will tell stories about their child or their friend's child who is taking Medic or Engineering
so please tell me,why people always look down on others like that?
even here,at Jordan,some people still look down on me.some of the JUST'S students's too
they think i'm not important to be their friend just because i'm not taking Medic or Dentist like them,dont bother to be talk to.okay,i knew who i am
what i want to say,please dont look down on others if you dont want others to do the same to u,ok??
